A “pit” is a deep hole in the ground. A smart hole? Don’t fall in!
I have seen “pit” used like this in Japan before. I’m not sure why the word gets used in this way, as if it means “a place that you can find…” I’m not sure what would be a “correct” way to say this. How about:
